Way of the Cross at Ollur Forane Church

Thousands of people from all across Ollur came for the Way of the Cross which started at around 04.45 pm. This year the route avoided the Highway and took a turn from Holy Angels Road entering the road going to St. Raphael's Convent and School and then turning at Vadakke Angadi to reach the Church. The Way of the Cross was followed by a Message of Good Friday. The Movie "Passion of Christ" by Mel Gibson was screened at the Church afterwards.

Maundy Thursday at Ollur Church 2013

The "Maundy Thursday" holy Mass and Eucharistic adoration was attended by a large crowd at Ollur Forane church. A special Altar was set up on the Stage outside the Church.

The Holy Cross blessed by Pope Benedict at Rome was on display at Ollur Forane Church for the last three days. It was worshipped by scores of people during the 3 days 40 hrs adoration.

St. Sebastian's New Icon at Ollur Forane Church

's A new Icon of St. Sebastian was erected in Ollur church in 2013 during the Saint's feast. The Ambu Perunnal is still being celebrated and just now (8.46 pm IST) an Ambu came to pallinada. We are blessed to witness all these events happening in Ollur Pallinada.

40 Hours Adoration at Ollur Church March 2013

40 Hours Adoration at Ollur Church

The 40 hours Adoration started at Ollur church yesterday. It will continue for 3 days. Worshippers are praying and worshipping the Holy Monstrance in the Main Altar all day long. The Church Altar is decorated in beautiful white Asian Lilies. The Holy Cross blessed by former Pope Benedict in Rome is also on display at the Altar of Holy Mary inside the church.
