The shops are packing up and most of them will not be seen tomorrow morning. That marks the end of this years perunnal. Rain ushered in a little discomfort in the late evening...But overall a successful culmiation of St. Raphael's Perunnal 2013

Ollur Perunnal events Grand Finale soaked in rain

Rain was waiting to pour over the crowd who were eager to watch the Grand Finale in the Football ground. It rained for almost 20 minutes and that was enough to make the whole place a mud field. A Female MC was rocking on the stage with her Heavy metal sound and was a total disaster. The crowd was not so enthusiastic with the rain in attendance. And finally the names of all the sponsors were read out loud and clear for a dozen times...The programme is still going on.

Ollur Church Perunnal Ettamidom Photos

Perunnal Ettamidom ended very well. But the climate changed by late afternoon and rain started at 7.30 pm drenching the church circle and dampening the Grand Finale of the eight day celebrations.

My blog ollurchurchcircle.blogspot.com was a huge hit last week. Almost 2000 hits in just 2 days..!! The Ollurshrine.com website live video got 522 visits and Facebook likes 821. My blog last month hit was 2241 and today it is 4160 with max hits during the Perunnal days of 23 and 24 Oct. Thank you all for visiting my blog.
