Painting Frenzy in Ollur Church and Parish

Ollur Church is being painted fully this year. The Paint job is progressing in full speed. The workers are dangling from the 7 storey Manimalika of Ollur. Elsewhere every home far and near the Church is Painted and decorated. The smell of Paint is in the air. It is nice to see all the arrangements going on and everyone preparing for the Annual feast of St. Raphael, the Archangel. It is on October 23 and 24th. This year being holidays for Pooja festival of Hindus, a huge rush is expected on those days. The Power Cut will dampen the spirit of Illumination to some extent. KSEB will tighten the screws of violators... but you can see the homes dripping with all sought of illumination works.
